Learning How to Invest!
This site is about learning to invest. Our goal is to help the new investor begin to invest and move forward in becoming a Fiscal Investor. The made goal is to begin to create wealth through investing. This takes discipline, dedication, and education. We will be introducing education, tools, websites and much more to help you become more of a Fiscal Investor. Patience, education and dedication are two most import traits you need to develop. They often say if you read the Wall Street Journal for 15-30 minutes a day for a year, in one year you will have as much knowledge of the market as a Wall Street Professional. I don’t know about that but you will have a great idea on how to begin the journey to be a Fiscal Investor. You complete a marathon 1 step at a time, 1 mile, etc. The goal is to finish at your pace but do it as fast as you can. Still you need patience. It doesn’t happen overnight.
Websites to help you get there. We will be working to educate you on your growth. Start slow, get advice as needed from Financial Advisors, stay consistent and keep educated. Here are some ways to start.
- How much can you invest? How much can you start with and how much can you do monthly?
- Are you maxing out your 401k or IRA? You should start this ASAP. Give as much as you can, the tax benefits are huge. You will not notice them now but in 10-20 years you will.
- If you have less than $10,000 start small. Look at mutual funds or ETF’s. We would suggest S&P 500, Russell 2000, etc. YOU should not be buying stocks until you have at least $10,000 in investable funds.
- Stay diversified. This is very important. You should make sure you have 5-10 different style of investments. Don’t go to big in diversification as you need to be educated and follow your investments. Most people can’t follow more than 5-10.
- Be consistent. Keep adding to your investment category. More on dollar cost averaging in time.
